Park Nicollet and the American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) are joining forces to present a Sleep Fair, Saturday, June 1, 1 to 4 p.m., at Marriott Minneapolis West, 9960 Wayzata Boulevard, St. Louis Park, Minn. The fair is open to the public, free of charge.
Information will be available on sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, dental devices and surgical options for sleep apnea, and the dangers of drowsy driving.
Exhibits will be presented by Twin Cities home care companies, Philips Respironics, RedMed, and Fisher and Paykel Healthcare. CPAP users Sherry and Ashley Johnston, a mother and daughter team from NBC's The Biggest Loser, will be on site to talk to attendees.
A silent auction and raffles during the event will benefit the National CPAP Donation Program which provides free CPAP equipment to patients in need. Attendees who bring a CPAP or humidifier (used, but in good condition) for the donation program will receive free standard CPAP tubing as a thank you.
