Douglas E. Masini, EdD, RRT-NPS, RPFT, AE-C, FAARC, is associate professor and director of respiratory therapy at Armstrong Atlantic State University and clinical assistant professor of internal medicine at Mercer College of Medicine.  Both are located in Savannah, Ga.  He has authored and edited numerous journal articles and book chapters about respiratory care, implementing protocols, and ethics. Masini has a special interest in teaching respiratory care students using new media methods.

You guys with all the initials after your name love the word efficacy don't you?

What about LTOT patients? What about O2 coming out of concentrators? My relative loves humidifiers (stepson with CF). The efficacy is 100% if it improves compliance and the way the patient feels, in my humble opinion.
