Welcome to ADVANCE's Managers of Respiratory Care podcast. We recently spoke with a New Jersey mother, Carole McDonnell, whose daughter was killed after a driver fell asleep at the wheel. McDonnell's fierce lobbying led New Jersey to enact in August 2003 "Maggie's Law" - the nation's first law recognizing drowsy driving as a major offense.
